This year, I have decided to do a blog just to keep you updated on where I am and what I have been doing as Miss River Delta's Outstanding Teen. So far, it has been a great year of service! The past 5 months have been amazing, and I can't wait to see what God brings me during my next 7 months of holding my last teen local title, as I will be a senior in high school next year.
Right now, I am beginning to prepare for my annual Make A Wish fundraiser for both Jonesboro Public Schools and also for my individual fund. This is one of my favorite times of the year, because I love serving for my community, especially for this organization, because seeing the outcome of all the hard work that comes with fundraising makes all of the work worth it. Recently, I was just taken off of the waiting list to grant a wish with the money I raised last year, so I am looking forward to doing that soon. Also, I am hoping to raise enough money in order to grant another wish next year as well. I am beyond ecstatic to begin raising money, and if you would like to donate, you can look on the "Donate to MAW (Make A Wish)" tab on this page, and it will tell you all of the ways you can help!
Next Saturday, January 24, the Miss Arkansas Delta and Miss Arkansas Delta's Outstanding Teen pageants will be held at Nettleton Performing Arts Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. I will be entertaining there, and will help crown the new winners. If you are interested in competing, you can go to http://arkansasdeltapageants.weebly.com for more information. If you aren't, you can still come watch the pageant. I am very excited about attending and seeing who will be able to experience this amazing journey to MAOT along with myself and the other new titleholders so far!
Thank you for taking the time to view my page, and if you have any questions or comments, feel free to leave a message in the "Contact Me" tab. :)
